For nearly 90 years, four generations of McGhees have been baking in Glasgow – and we’re still at it today.
What started from a small shop in Maryhill is now one of Scotland’s biggest and best-known names in baking. Today, we work out of our site in Port Dundas, but we’re proud to say not much else has changed. We still bake early, sweat the small stuff, and care about every product that leaves the building carrying the McGhee’s name.
You’ll find our products on breakfast tables across Scotland and beyond. In supermarkets, corner shops, and cafés that have stocked us for decades. Every decision we’ve taken along the way follows one guiding principle: what’s made right, stays right.
We’ve picked up a few industry awards along the way, but what matters most is trust: families who enjoy our rolls, cakes and tarts week in, week out, and retailers who know we won’t let them down.
